The traditional PoE standard (IEEE 802.3af) supports 15.4W, and normal cable runs only reach 100m, which is fine for regular devices. But what do you do if your network cameras need more power or extend over a greater distance LevelOne PoE repeaters allow a PoE device to be attached to your network over a distance of up to 800m. The “IN” port accepts the power and data for the first 100m, and the “OUT” port boosts and extends the power and data an additional 100m.
