In any home theater system, the driving force is the main left and right speakers. The S1.8 with its high power 8 inch woofer was designed for this function and performs comparable to surrounds in a larger system. The Induction Dynamics S1.8 offers complete freedom to customize home entertainment systems, or to even create a two-channel stereo setup. It can be used as a bookshelf speaker or freestanding with the ST1 stand.
