The SYSTEM 16/8 provides flat frequency response and excellent sound in a 1' x 2' lay-in ceiling tile replacement enclosure. It has a high durability, powder coated, perforated steel baffle, with a lightweight speaker assembly that includes an 8", foam edge, 8 Ohm speaker with a 10 oz. magnet. By providing excellent sound quality, visual appeal and typical Quam reliability, the SYSTEM 16/8 is designed for a wide range of demanding applications. The fully assembled SYSTEM 16/8 is UL Listed, and provides four (4) seismic tie-off points to comply with local codes in most jurisdictions. With minimal ceiling tile cutting required, the SYSTEM 16/8 saves installation labor and reduces project costs.
