The polyester (K71400935A-xx) and stainless steel (K71400976A-xx) faceplate labels within this kit are provided as a service/accessory part for existing Federal Signal Call Point stations in need of a replacement faceplate label. The polyester labels have either white or black text over a clear background with "FIRE," "EVAC," "GAS ALARM," "BIOHAZARD ALARM," "LOCKDOWN," "EMERGENCY," "SHUTDOWN," or an Evac logo, all provided on one sheet for multiple applications. The stainless steel labels have black text with "FIRE," "EVAC," "GAS ALARM," or "BIOHAZARD ALARM" provided as individual labels. Remove the existing label and be certain that the application area is free from any dirt, residue from the previous label, smudges, or oil prior to application. Residue removal cleaners must be applied locally to the area of the new label’s application. All labels have a peel-off paper liner exposing a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. Initial placement is critical, as the adhesive is aggressive once it touches the station’s faceplate-designated label area.
