The M2 2x16 POL Splitter is a point to multipoint cassette designed to split 2 LC connectors to 16 LC connectors over a Passive Optical LAN (POL) that provides the capability to securley deliver voice, data and IP/broadband video. A POL is an alternative to a traditional Ethernet LAN and is widely accepted as an ideal replacement of old copper networks. A POL allows you to optimize your resources with a simple, space saving installation and provides benefits such as cost reductions, greater efficiencies, scalability and a clear upgrade path.
