Screw Eyes are manufactured with a closed circular eye on one end and a gimlet point lag threaded screw on the other. They are the ideal fastener of choice when attaching cables and ropes to surfaces. It is suggested that a pilot hole slightly smaller than the diameter of the screw be used to prevent splitting or snapping.
