Silicon Bronze Split Lock Washers are manufactured with a trapezoidal cross section that deflects under load and can be used with or without a Silicon Bronze Flat Washer. They provide marginal resistance to vibration loosening and are ideal in applications where fasteners have a tendency to rotate or lose friction. Silicon Bronze Split Lock Washers are the ideal choice when working in highly corrosive environments or marine applications. They are covered by ASME B18.21.1.
