The 511-POH-30W is a PoH compliant power inserter that can be used to power one end of an HDBaseT link. It passes the UTP signals across while at the same time injects 48V power for the PD (powered device). The supply complies with the IEEE 802.3af and will only apply power to the cable if a compliant device is connected.
