Product Overview
The Mini Distribution Center (MDC) is a structured cabling solution for multi-unit buildings, small homes, and retrofit installations to existing homes. This complete distribution system provides support for telephony, data, and CATV connectivity in one compact enclosure that fits small areas within the residence. Engineered for ease of installation, the surface-mounted MDC provides cable routing by providing cable access openings on both sides of the enclosure. The fully populated Mini Distribution Center provides distribution for 8 telephony ports, 8 data ports, and a 1X4CATV splitter. The Voice Module has 8 ports, up to 4 incoming phone lines, and up to 32 extensions. The Data Module is TIA Category 5e rated with 8-ports, and supports broadband internet access to 8 computers or Ethernet devices. The Video Module includes 1 input, 4 outputs, and 2 GHz bandwidth.
