The 2GIG XCVR5E-345 is a sophisticated bi-directional transceiver module designed to significantly expand the capabilities of 2GIG GC2e security panels. It enables the GC2e to seamlessly support a wide array of sensors by integrating both a 345 MHz receiver and a 900 MHz transceiver. This allows the panel to communicate with legacy non-encrypted 345 MHz sensors, modern eSeries encrypted 345 MHz sensors, and the 900 MHz 2GIG IMAGE Sensor 3, all through a single, compact plug-in unit. The XCVR5E-345 replaces the GC2e's factory receiver and requires panel firmware version 1.23 or later for operation. This module facilitates secure, 128-bit encrypted communication with eSeries sensors and enables advanced features like photo verification with the Image Sensor 3, offering a powerful upgrade path that future-proofs existing GC2e systems without needing a full panel replacement.
