The D8229 Access Keypad sends output in a Wiegand 26-bit format. Enter a personal identification number (PIN) to obtain access. There are keys for numbers 0 through 9, for the number symbol (#), and for the asterisk symbol (*). Each time you press a key, one of the light emitting diode (LED) indicators emits a red light and an annunciator emits a beep.
