Patient station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone IR318B or approved equal. The IR318B shall include solid state circuitry, a yellow CALL PLACED LED, and a combination red IN-USE indicator and RESET button. The station shall also include a 6' long spring-loaded washable TPU plastic pull cord. The patient call latching will be accomplished by solid-state, electronic circuitry. The station shall utilize a 2.50" x 2.50" speaker/ microphone for accurate voice reproduction.

All station components shall be mounted on an attractive flame retardant type fog white (UL® 94V-0) plastic faceplate. Connections shall be plug-in be plug-in type.

The IR318B shall be UL® Listed.

Contractor shall follow manufacturer's instructions and shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
