The Alpha®/S.T.R.™ DZ209/5 and DZ209/10 diode board units are designed to work with our HT2009 or HT3009 (2-wire) apartment handset stations and/or 5661/000 (NoCoax) type video-intercom systems.

The DZ209/5 diode boards are installed into the lobby entry door stations, to enable standard pushbuttons to be used with the HT2009, HT3009 and 5661/000 systems. The diode boards are provided with self-stick tape to allow them to be mounted in a convenient spot, inside the lobby entry panel(s).

The diode boards allow the pushbutton selective wires to also act as common wires, when the pushbuttons are not being depressed.

The DZ209/5 has 5 diodes and the DZ209/10 has 10 diodes, to allow them to work with 5 buttons and 10 buttons, respectively. They can be mixed and matched in a panel, depending upon the total number of buttons. For example, for a 35 button panel, you would use 3- DZ209/10 boards and 1- DZ209/5 board.
