The DVS-RM/B is a remote microphone for use with the VECP25/50 Series Voice Evacuation System. The MNS-RM/B is a remote microphone for use with the MNS-100BAS Series Mass Notification Panel. Only one remote microphone can be used with each audio panel. (Note the VECP or MNS panel includes a microphone. The DVS-RM/B microphone can be located up to 100 feet from the VECP to provide paging and live 'override' of the prerecorded message and alert tones. The microphone and interconnecting wires are supervised. A fault will cause the Control Board's System LED, and the Remote Mic Fault LED to light. The surface mounting steel enclosure includes a key locking hinged cover. The device can be placed in an entry way for access by authorized personnel only. The 3-1/2” depth of the box complies with ADA guidelines. Note the enclosure can be custom semi-flush mounted on-site.
