The VSR-420 Shogun CONNECT 7" HDR Video Monitor and Recorder from JVC combines the recording and monitoring power of the Atomos Shogun CONNECT and outfits the unit with new video codecs specifically for sports production editors. Video recorded onto the CONNECT will import into DV Sport, Catapult, and HUDL programs without requiring transcoding. This means you can easily add gameplay metadata with various camera angles recorded, all synced with a single UTC time signal from the GPS of the compatible camera, like the GY-HC500SPC. Continuous clip recording stores shots together as a single clip file for streamlined production and a new exchange format 1080p/720p allows video and metadata to be used across different applications.
