This IR receiver is designed to capture and interpret infrared signals from remote controls, enabling remote control functionality for audio/video (AV) systems and other devices. It is compatible with various Matrix Switchers, HDMI Extenders, AV receivers, set top boxes, and other AV equipment featuring a 3.5mm IR input port. The IR receiver supports all 38-56kHz IR remote controls and IR emitters and comes with a shielded 6FT long cable with a 3.5mm end plug. Users should position the IR receiver with a clear line-of-sight to the remote or IR emitter for optimal performance. The device connects directly to the IR IN or IR EYE port on AV equipment, ensuring easy installation and use.
