The AC-MXNET-1G-AVDM-EV2 by AVPro Edge is a high-performance encoder/transmitter designed for AV over IP systems, enabling seamless transmission of high bitrate multi-channel audio and 4K/60fps video signals. It features an onboard proprietary audio decoder that extracts balanced analog stereo audio from formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X IMAX Enhanced, supporting 8-channel downmixing. The device utilizes a newly designed Evolution II ASIC with an enhanced JPEG 2000 encoding engine, ensuring optimized compression and near-zero latency video transmission with Genlock frame-syncing for tear-free video walls. Additional capabilities include HDMI 2.0 support, HDCP 2.3 compliance, control signal routing for RS-232, IR, and USB, and a built-in OLED data window for easy device management. The unit operates quietly with a fan-less design and includes USB/KVM support via a USB 2.0 Type-B host connection.
