The 5277-PZL Series Piezo Switch is extra rugged and weather resistant so it can withstand the rigors and abuse of everyday use. It is an industrial strength switch designed for heavy usage applications. It is constructed with a stainlesssteel mounting plate and sealed electronics enclosure. The stainless-steel Piezo button requires just a light touch to activate. The 5277-PZL Series Piezoelectric Switch has an integrated time delay adjustable from 1 thru 60 seconds. It can be used to control automatic doors, electric strikes or electromagnetic locks. There is also a Toggle (on/off) mode for maintained functionality. The 5277-PZL Series features a bicolored LED illuminated ring. The output is jumper selectable to show Relay On or Relay Off status with options for red, green or no illumination. The LED ring may also be independently controlled to indicate door or lock state. The highly visible LED ring may be independently controlled and used to indicate door status for access to Mantraps and Interlocks. When used in conjunction with access control software/hardware, the DC power to the maglock is routed through the set of normally closed contacts to assure unlocking of the maglock when the 5277-PZL Push button is activated. Simultaneously, a separate set of normally open contacts signal the access control system of a request to exit (R-E-X). The 5277-PZL series is mounted on a 1/8" thick Stainless Steel back plate. Mounting screws are furnished in Phillips head and Pin in Hex tamper resistant (hex key included) screws are all stainless steel for corrosion protection. The 5277-PZL series has standard engraving options to suit the particular application. Red filled lettering stands out for easy reading.
